SLEDDING IN SÖLDEN
WINTER BLISS FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY AT GAISLACHKOGL
There’s more than just skiing in Sölden. Sledding is a great winter sport for your entire family. There is a new family-friendly 7.3-kilometer-long sledding track starting at the middle station of the Gaislachkogl lift. Once a week, the sledding run is open at night. The track is lit up, but we recommend bringing your headlamps, just in case. Sleds are available for rent at places like SPORTMIKE.
The villages of Hochgurgl and Vent also have great sledding runs with lift access. If you prefer to hike up, there are some family-friendly sledding tracks in Oetz by Lake Piburg and from Sattele, at 1,700 meters altitude, to the Feldring mountain inn.
